HITCHCOCK FIELD
Dedicated to the memory of Professor Edward "Old Doc" Hitchcock Jr. (Class of 1849) – an alumnus, 50-year faculty member, & the son of former Amherst College President Edward Hitchcock & Orra White Hitchcock –  in 1912, Hitchcock Field includes three natural grass playing surfaces that are home to the Mammoths’ soccer programs.

GOODING FIELD
A synthetic-turf field equipped with stadium lighting and grandstands, Gooding Field is the home of Amherst field hockey. Dedicated in 2007, the field is named in honor of former athletic director Peter Gooding and his wife, Myra, for their nearly 40 years of service to the college.
